The trip down to the trail was good just a wait at the airport and then a car drive down. It was dark when I arrived and I decided to set the tent up in the dark rather than use the car lights to set it up. I figured I might as well get used to setting it up at night and I would rather practice that while it is not raining. Setting the tent up without daylight probably only took an extra five minutes, no big.
The Cape Henlopen park is a really nice place I would have stayed there a couple of extra days if I had known. There is the ocean and the forest all together. There were lots of birds and I saw a few lizards and squirrels. There were tracks of deer and raccoon but I didn't see either of them. There was also one huge spider it had to be around 1 3/4 long, nasty..
All around it was nice spot and I got a chance to use my non flame fire starter to start a camp fire which I was looking forward to. Those people on survivor that can't start a fire with it are pretty lame. =)
